CRESPOGRAM REPORT
THE HERALD DOESN’T LOVE ME
THEY’VE BANNED ME FROM MAKING COMMENTS ABOUT THE SHITTY STORIES THEY WRITE

FEBRUARY 24, 2012

It used to be that every once in a while the Miami Herald would remove one of my comments to a story, usually when I made a pointed reference to their incompetence or suck up to the Mayor, or some other nitwit at City Hall.

Last Wednesday, I guess they decided to permanently bar me from posting comments of any kind.

It started when I wrote a comment about the story they did regarding the Miami-Dade Ethics Commission’s efforts to introduce a new proposal about elected officials getting “free tickets.”

Now, that’s a story I’ve been covering for almost a year, and I weighed in with my comments about that, and who I thought the biggest violator was:

“The Crespogram Report started writing about these

abuses a year ago, and several weeks ago I filed a

formal Ethics Complaint against Miami elected officials,

employees and appointed board members for receiving

free tickets to the Knight Center and the Bayfront Park

         Amphitheater.

But the biggest abuser of receiving free gifts in Miami-

Dade County is State's Attorney, Katherine Fernandez-

Rundle, who I have labeled as The Queen Of Swag for

taking almost $28,000 in free gifts from limo service, to

flowers, to jewelry, to free meals and hotel rooms, and

a lot of free tickets to events, including late last year 2 -

$1000 tickets to a Celine Dion concert.

All of these stories are in the CrespoGram Series section

        of my website.

My comments disappeared with 3 minutes.  So, I posted them again with a heading that asked:  WHY DD THE HERALD REMOVE THIS COMMENT.

That disappeared even faster.

A couple hours later, I read Michael Putney’s column about his comments about funding the refurbishment of several buildings in Liberty City, and decided I’d send him a message via the Herald’s comment section.

About 30 seconds after my post popped on the Herald site, it disappeared, replaced by the following message.

Since my pal Michael Putney has told people he doesn’t rely on blogs for credible information, I guess that my failure to get that information anywhere on the Miami herald website means that he won;t be doing a story about the Bayside Hut/Vero’s By The Bay scandal, and we already know that the Miami Herald won;t cover it because it not only involves Regalado, but also the Lacasa clan, and other folks that the Herald has all but taken a blood oath never to write really embarrassing stories about, so I guess the only place that you can continue to read stories that no one else will touch is right here.

It’s Miami, Bitches!
